Many were left bloodied in Bauchi State, North-eastern part of Nigeria recently, not because Boko Haram terrorists were on rampage again but as a result of alleged excesses of the men in khaki.

According to Comrade Shettima Umar, the Vice President - National Affairs of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), the gory pictures seen here depict a sneak-peek of what Nigerian soldiers did to students during the Students Union Government election yesterday at Bauchi State College of Education, Kangere.

The students were allegedly brutalised by soldiers who were present to avert chaos during the Student Union Government election.

The details about what transpired between the armed men and the students remained unknown but several victims were seen in pools of their own blood as they received medical attention.

According to Comrade Shettima, he witnessed the military brutality on the students but he didn't give further details about how the anomalous incident played out.

The pictures are making rounds on social media with commenters expressing bitterness about the seeming unfortunate incident.
